1. READ What Gave Mark Fresh Perspective

“My son and I hiked some “14'ers” (14,000 foot peaks) in Colorado on a long weekend with my brother and nephew. When we made the summit of Mount Lincoln, we just stood there to take in the breathtaking scene. We could truly see for miles and miles! I looked down and saw an eagle soaring so far below me that it was just a speck in my sight. It gave me a new perspective, knowing how high eagles can soar, and yet they were so far below me from the summit.”

2. REFLECT On What Gives You Fresh Perspective

What do you see in God’s creation today that gives you a new perspective?

4. PRAY God’s Perspective-Filled Words Over Your Day

Hallowed be your name, Lord! My heart is filled with praise as I read your life-giving words in Psalm 19:1 that “the heavens declare your glory O God, and the skies proclaim the work of your hands!” May I pause throughout the day to notice your glory today - in the skies and your beautiful, breath-taking creation all around me. Amen.

5. ENJOY This Fun Fact About Eagles!

A martial eagle can spot prey 3.7 miles (6km) away. To put that in perspective, if you got in your car and just drove for 5 minutes without stopping at 55mph, the martial eagle could see you at the end of your drive!
