“I was reminded of the rich blessing of God's people at church today. Several people told me specifically they were praying for me and my wife. I had a rich conversation with an older friend about how to use our “upfront” talents in service of God without swelling up with pride. And I got to spend a few moments holding a friend's baby in the nursery. As someone without kids yet, and living far from family, I was deeply blessed by the church family God has given me in this season.”

4. PRAY for God’s provision of caring community in your life
Father, give us this day our daily “bread” that comes from a caring community. In your Word, you describe your people as “being devoted to one another in love, honoring each other above ourselves.” (Romans 12:10) May that be true in our lives. Praying for people and telling them we are praying for them. Rich conversations that build each other up. Being family to each other. Thank you Jesus for these amazing gifts. Amen.
