Paul
1. READ about God’s deliverance for Paul and his family
“Sometimes our children’s friends are not always as nice as they should be. And when it feels natural to respond in like manner, it is such a joy to remind my daughter (and myself) that God amazingly does not do this to us! While we deserve His wrath and judgement for our sins, He instead gives us His grace and mercy, and love and kindness. He instead offers us Himself, and takes away our sin and desire for revenge: “Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world.” (John 1:29)
2. REFLECT on your own need for deliverance
What is satan trying to destroy in your life? How is Jesus offering to bring you life today?

4. PRAY God’s Words Of Deliverance Over Your Heart
Father, deliver us from evil! You said in your Word that you “showed your love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Jesus died for us.” (Romans 5:8) When people aren’t nice to us, help us to set aside revenge and respond instead with your love and grace and mercy and kindness. Amen.
5. Before You Go – ENJOY this uplifting story about revenge
When a heartbreaking video of 68-year-old bus monitor Karen Klein being cruelly bullied by middle schoolers went viral, the world took notice. Karen responded with quiet strength instead of revenge. Moved by her dignity, people worldwide donated over $700,000 to support her—enough for her to retire and launch an anti-bullying foundation.
