1. READ what gave Rick fresh purpose

“I recently attended three weddings in three weekends—officiating two and DJ’ing all three! It was busy but so rewarding to see young couples who love the Lord and each other commit to a life of Christian love. The receptions weren’t just parties; they were celebrations of life and love. My role was small but meaningful. To know I touched their lives and was part of their journey brought me great joy.”

2. REFLECT on what gives you fresh purpose

What are some small but meaningful ways that you bring life and love to others?

4. PRAY God’s purpose-filled words over your day

Father, may your will be done! Fill my heart and my day with your purpose for me. I sometimes feel like the Apostle Paul who said, “I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but it was you God who made it grow.” (1 Corinthians 3:6). Thank you for taking my seemingly small contributions and acts of service to bring life and love to others. Amen.

5. Before you go….ENJOY this fun fact about wedding parties!

A wedding party in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin took an unexpected turn when a tornado warning forced the couple and their 181 guests into the hotel's basement. Amid the chaos and power outage, a guest grabbed a guitar and serenaded the newlyweds with Ed Sheeran's "Perfect" while the guests illuminated the moment with their cellphone flashlights. Nice!
