1. READ about Allen’s moment of gratitude
“I watched my daughter run her last 3200 meter race of her high school track and field career. She absolutely poured her soul into the final 400 meters to beat her personal best time. Then after the event, I watched her wistfully look around the stadium. It was dark. And she was one of the last few people to leave. I felt so blessed to be an eyewitness to this precious moment in her life.”
2. REFLECT on a special moment you are grateful for

4. PRAY God’s life-giving words over your special moments and memories
Father, give us our daily “bread” of happy memories with family and friends. You said in your Word that “there is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens - a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance.” (Ecclesiastes 3:1,4). As we reflect on “last” moments with people we love, may our grief turn to gratitude. Amen.
