“My husband and I are refugee foster parents. We are currently supporting a 19-year old boy from Honduras. He lived with us for 9 months and now we are helping him spread his wings. Two weeks ago we gave away my car to a young married couple who were in a tough spot. The Lord has been solidifying my purpose in helping others. And I’ve discovered that if I just respond in faithfulness and show up when the Lord asks, He will do the rest. In return, He’s made me feel more alive than I’ve ever felt....and it's addicting!”

Father, may your will be done! Give me a heart that comes alive with purpose through your words in Isaiah 6: “Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?’ And I said, ‘Here I am. Send me!” Show me where I can respond with faithfulness and just show up. To do your will for me, helping and supporting others. Amen.
