Latricia
1. READ what gives Latricia fresh purpose
“I feel I am doing God’s will and living within the purpose He has for me. I currently work with cancer patients. This amazes me, but I have firsthand knowledge of how many patients are not afraid to die. They just want what God wants for them. Recently, I had a patient who had no fear of dying because He chose to trust God, even during his period of transition. He stated that down through the years, God has always been good to him. This really blessed me.”
2. REFLECT on what gives you fresh purpose
Can you say, along with Latricia’s cancer patients, that you are not afraid to die? Or that you just want what God wants? Why or why not?
3. Listen to “To God Be The Glory” by Andrae Crouch
4. PRAY God’s purpose-filled words over your day!
Father, hallowed be your name! You said in your Word that “none of us lives for ourselves alone, and none of us dies for ourselves alone. If we live, we live for the You. And if we die, we die for You. So, whether we live or die, we belong to You.” (Romans 14:7–8). Lord, may we live for You and Your purpose for our lives today. May we trust you in life and in death. Thank for you for being so good to us. Amen.
5. Before you go - an inspiring fact about cancer patients….
Numerous studies confirm that spiritual beliefs can significantly benefit cancer patients, especially at the end of life. The research shows that people who believe in God experience increased hope and meaning, reduced anxiety, improved quality of life, better coping with illness, and more supportive care from religious communities.
